
Ky-mani , who is getting close to finishing his third album which is yet to be released, is definitely a superstar. Ky-mani Marley was the son of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis player) and Anita Belnavis (a Jamaican woman who took home numerous titles) On February 26 1977 in Falmouth. Ky-mani comes from an East African term meaning adventurous traveler, and as an individual living in the spirit of his name Each album or journey, is an adventure. The Journey, his musical journey started in 1999. Ky-mani was an artist of many styles who sought his musical niche. The year 2001 saw the release of Many More Roads (Grammy-nominated), a "traditional" reggae album was released exposing a more mature Ky-mani. The Journey and Many More Roads were well appreciated across the globe, establishing Ky-mani's place as an independent "artist". Ky-Mani combines roots reggae and hip-hop R&B as well as contemporary jazz, to form his unique sound.
