Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also directed films such as Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. She was born into a middle-class household living in Los Angeles, she harboured many dreams in her early years. The mother of her children was fond of watching movies and inculcated a love for movies in her daughter and also. Paula was a fan of school co-curriculars and was particularly fond of drama. She enjoyed acting in stage plays along with her peers. She was a part of numerous performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to pursue acting as a career. She went to in the University of Southern California for the Summer Program, and she loved the experience. The program was an award for a PBS project for three months to shoot documentary films. When she was able to complete the assignment with success, she began working as an assistant in the production of TV documentaries. Then, she switched to producing documentaries. While she enjoyed the work, she wanted to become an actor. She started her career in acting when she appeared as Will Smith's co-star on romantic comedy Hitch. Since then she has appeared in a variety of film and TV shows.
