Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny on February 3, 1950) is an American actor from the United States. The actress gained fame in the late 1970s and early 1980s with continuing roles in several television series, with which she frequently portrayed the image of a glamourous woman. Fairchild started her career on the CBS Daytime soap drama Search for Tomorrow as Jennifer Pace from 1973 until 1977. Fairchild's career began in 1973 as Jennifer Pace on CBS' soap opera for daytime called Search for Tomorrow. She portrayed Jenna Wade for the first time in 1978. After that she was cast in the lead part on the NBC series Flamingo Road. (For this show, she was awarded the Golden Globe Award nominated Best Actress - Television Series drama). In 1984, she appeared as co-star on ABC's primetime soap Paper Dolls. From 1985-1986 she played the role of attorney Jordan Roberts on Falcon Crest. Fairchild is also an actor on stage and has appeared in a variety of TV comedy shows, including Murphy Brown, for which she won an Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Star on a Comedy Series.
